A Yorkshire-based car retailer has expanded by acquiring three more Audi dealerships with 155 staff.
Family-owned JCT600 has bought the firm Bramall and Jones Ltd which operated the Boston Audi, Lincoln Audi and Grimsby Audi dealerships.
The firm, owned by Tony Bramall and Peter Jones, was sold outright and the additions to JCT600 are expected to contribute around £80m to its turnover which is expected to top £550m this year. The group acquired Hull and York Audi last August.
Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen are among 20 top world brands sold by the company's dealerships.
JCT600 chief executive John Tordoff said the company now has a "huge geographical area to control", from York in North Yorkshire, through to Hull and Grimsby on the East Coast and south through Lincoln to Boston.
"These areas are prosperous, and have proved extremely resilient in the present economic climate. This latest acquisition provides us with another fantastic opportunity with Audi, one of the world's leading car manufacturers," said Mr Tordoff.
