Hotel undergoes luxury makeover

Guests who decide to stay at a North Yorkshire hotel will be able to experience luxury settings from around the world following a makeover with a difference.
The Crab Manor, near Thirsk, is undergoing a £250,000 investment programme in which the 14 rooms are modelled on top destinations from around the world.
Each room is decorated with authentic artefacts from each location.
The first four rooms have already been completed, with five more scheduled to be ready following the second phase of the project in late spring.
The rooms at the grade-two listed Georgian manor include a re-creation of the Ritz Hotel in London, and the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, said to be the most luxurious hotel in the world.
Jason Greenwood, managing director of Vimac Leisure, the company that owns Crab Manor, said: "Crab Manor already has a strong reputation as a luxury destination venue both across and outside the region, but we're always aware that we can't rest on our laurels and do as much as we can to continually improve our guests' experience."
As well as the luxurious upgrades in each bedroom, the hallway, lounge and landing areas have all been refurbished.
The dining area has also been upgraded, along with the neighbouring restaurant, the Crab & Lobster.
