A Hull-based invisible loudspeaker developer has invested in its potential overseas market by signing an exclusive distribution deal with a Middle Eastern company.
FeONIC, which designs, produces and distributes electronic sound drives which turn surfaces and structures into loudspeakers for business, commercial and home use, has joined forces with MINDCo, based in the United Arab Emirates.
MINDCo's distribution network stretches across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Middle East, Africa and the Indian subcontinent. Its distribution, installation and after-sales teams will first be trained to use FeONIC technologies, and then will focus on developing Middle East and CIS markets for the product range.
Brenda Hopkins, FeONIC chairman, said: "We are delighted to be partnering with MINDCo. They have the right infrastructure and network to be a meaningful distribution partner to the business going forward being both able to generate its own sales as well as support sales generated through other FeONIC agents in the regions."
MINDCo director Adish Chauhan said: "FeONIC's products are unparalleled in the market-place providing omni-directional audio solutions that represent the next generation in audio-installations. In short, they transform the way architects, audio designers and consumers are able to solve their acoustic problems."
