A company specialising in mapping areas for oil exploration has won a series of new contracts.
Getech, which is based in Leeds, has made the agreements totalling £290,000 with a major oil company.
"We are very pleased with these purchases, which come at a time when oil company budgets are still being cut or frozen," revealed chief executive of the company Raymond Wolfson.
He added that the move helped to recognise the company's skills and the exploration studies it gives way to.
The deal encompasses five of its geographical studies areas, covering India, China and south-east Asia, with the company already having oil giants such as Shell and BP on its books.
Getech has been developing since 1990 and has now expanded its sales into Europe, with representation in Vienna, Stockholm, Munich and Paris.
It also operates in a range of vertical markets, including education, telecoms and manufacturing services.
