Yorkshire firm merges to form RMSpumptools

RMS, a Yorkshire-based specialist in electrical penetrators, has merged with Pumptools to operate under a new name.
The collaboration sees the firm join forces with the Aberdeen-headquartered artificial lift completion specialist in order to offer a wider range of products.
"The move will provide improved customer service and our one-source supply will streamline our operations and improve our competitive advantage, increasingly demanded by our customers in today's challenging economic climate," commented Stan Foster-Rooke, RMSpumptools' managing director.
He added that the companies will benefit from a mutual customer base and will combine their efforts to innovate and develop more products.
RMSpumptools was recently launched in Texas at the Society of Petroleum Engineers ESP workshop at the Woodlands, with team members from both Britain and Houston in attendance.
Among the services offered by the firm is design assistance, which will be tailor-made to individual requirements.
